Calling Accounting professionals with operations accounting and business partnering experience for a much sought after opportunity with a leading multinational corporation in the Cork city area. My client, a leading multinational, require a Management Accountant for their finance function at the Cork based manufacturing facility to join a team of highly regarded finance industry professionals reporting to the Finance Manager. The ideal individual should be a qualified accountant with prior experience in, business partnering with finance and operational/production professionals, and have the capability to provide meaningful business analysis on financial and business opportunities both inside and outside the company. Responsibilities of the Management Accountant: Monitor performance & provide business intelligence & analysis to all levels of management to enable the business to meet its commitment and respond to targets. Manage various capital investments across the business, partnering with Project owners to ensure due diligence of investment process, developing tracking models, and control and report spend. Develop and manage a capital review forum with key stakeholders and control/monitor asset compliance issues such as tagging and cycle counting. Report actual financial performance across Global Supply Chain Finance by partnering with HR, R&D and Engineering. Support of Business Intelligence system implementation for Global Reporting and Metrics. Prepare new technology, new products, base spend, resources and capital investment budgets for all HR, R&D and AO teams. Raise attention to mitigate business and financial risks & exploit potential opportunities. Become a key member of a small tightly knit team that will allow easy exposure to all facets of the business. Requirements of the Management Accountant. ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualified - 5 years' experience a minimum. Relevant/appropriate operations accounting and business partnering experience. ERP systems exposure an advantage. Proven ability to deal with stakeholders in different functions of the business to finance. Strong presentation and communication skills a must. Strong problem solving capability. Project management experience beneficial.
