With responsibility for campaigns execution. Location: Cork or Dublin. Background: Morgan McKinley has a database of some 1.6 million contacts. Our aim is to expand this to 5 million over the next 5 years through improved inbound marketing, and to leverage this asset through more efficient outbound communication. We will achieve this through the deployment of end-to-end marketing automation with streamlined and optimised processes and standardised campaign playbooks. In this context we will invest in a new technology platform and appoint a Marketing Automation Specialist (with a minimum of two years' relevant experience). Initially, the role will be within a pilot environment with a view to subsequently rolling out systems and processes across the organisation. The Marketing Automation Specialist will work with IT to gain insights from our extensive contact databases, expanding these through effective inbound marketing, and alongside the Content & Campaigns Coordinator to execute effective, highly targeted and timely campaigns via e-mail and other channels. Tasks & responsibilities. Reports to the Global Marketing Campaigns Manager. Works alongside Content & Campaigns Coordinator. Marketing automation go-to person. Go-to person and super-user for marketing automation, trains other users in the system. Liaison with external supplier of marketing automation platform and suppliers of associated technologies (on both technical and non-technical issues. Work on collaborative projects with in-house IT and data insight team, as point of contact with Marketing & Operations. Set-up and execution of projects. Design and set-up of processes for moving contacts "through the funnel" from first contact to marketing qualified leads (MQLs. Design of templates. Population and management of segmented data sets. Work with Content & Campaigns Coordinator, organising data sets and setting up system for specific programmes e.g. webinar invitations & follow-up. Optimisation of e-mail communication. Design of interfaces between all channels (e-mail, social, website, events etc. Innovation & technology. Support and advise the Global Marketing Campaigns Manager. Evolve best practices to automate campaigns where possible (e.g. through automatically triggered actions. Identify ways to optimise use of current technologies & platforms. Investigate and evaluate new technologies & platforms. Your profile. This opportunity is ideally suited to an IT-savvy marketing professional with at least two years' experience of executing segmented digital outreach programmes. You will work with diverse in-house specialists ranging from data analysts to website designers and online programmers, as well as our frontline recruitment consultants. Therefore you need to be a strong team player who is able to reconcile feedback from a variety of sources and communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues. In terms of specific IT skills, you should ideally be familiar with marketing software and systems such as CRM as well as one of the leading marketing automation/campaign management solutions.
