My client, a global leader in laboratory testing, is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant on a permanent basis in Cork. This is a progressive role that offers an attractive salary, full benefits and a hybrid working from home option. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and gives the ideal candidate the chance to take ownership of the Accounting Function. THE ROLE: * Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts. * Providing Accurate Financial information to Management for key decision making. * The Filing of Tax and VAT returns. * Management of annual statutory audits and liaising with external tax advisors. * Ensuring compliance with all Accounting principles and standards. * Ad hoc duties as presented. REQUIREMENTS: * Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA. * 3 years PQE in a fast-paced environment. * ERP experience essential. * Strong IT and excel skills. * The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
