Overview:

As a Sales/Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and properties by assessing, installing, servicing, and maintaining fire safety equipment in customer premises. This multifaceted role also involves a business development component, where you will be responsible for generating new sales and fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Assessment and Consultation:

·        Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate the fire safety needs of customer premises.

·        Provide expert advice on the appropriate fire safety measures and equipment required for specific environments.

Installation and Configuration:

·        Install, configure, and set up various fire extinguishers, safety signage and hose reel systems.

·        Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations during installations.

Servicing and Maintenance:

·        Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of fire safety equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

·        Conduct testing to maintain the integrity of the fire equipment.

Business Development:

·        Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities .

·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their evolving fire safety needs.

·        Generate and qualify leads, presenting comprehensive solutions to potential customers.

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

Sales experience and a demonstrated ability to meet targets.

Ideally, proven experience in fire safety system installation, maintenance, and servicing.
