Job Title Supply Chain Coordinator

Our Client, a leading Pharmaceutical Contract Manufacturer, have a requirement for a Supply Chain Coordinator on a permanent basis.

Working as part of small, flexible and multi skilled team. you can expect to monitor, adjust and control their time distribution to ensure maximum productivity quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the area and the company

  • Support Customer Service ensuring that Customer Purchase Orders are efficiently and effectively handled ensuring full customer management
  • Updates to CRM on receipt of PO / Work Order
  • Generate shipping Doc's for shipment of raw materials, samples, finished product - batch numbers, weights, packaging information
  • Create corresponding shipments in SAP for stock material - create/extend customers, forwarding agents in SAP
  • Prepare customs documentation for shipments
  • Prepare manual documentation for quarantine shipments (packing list, delivery note)
  • Prepare picking list for Warehouse
  • Create invoices/debit notes for materials
  • File all shipment documentation and correspondence to customer
  • Review, prepare & finalise Internal Operating Procedures
  • Coordinate shipments with Forwarding Agents for imports and exports
  • Liaise with internal customers to prepare weekly production, purchasing and shipping schedules and ensure that targets are met
  • Issuing customs documentation for shipments
  • Monthly Performance report (KPIs


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain in a GMP manufacturing environment
  • APICS/ CIPM/ IIPMM or relevant materials management qualification an advantage
  • Experienced with import/ export regulations including customs and excise legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of other computer software packages
  • Working knowledge of SAP a distinct advantage
  • Ability to deliver in a fast paced, flexible and results focused environment
  • Computer skills for the application required in the area (ERP; Microsoft Word, Excel)
