Insurance Compliance Officer
My client, one of Ireland’s leading Insurance Brokers in Cork is currently seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer to maintain, improve and develop their existing compliance function. The Compliance Officer will work in accordance with legislative, industry and best practice requirements to provide a fully compliance service. Key Responsibilities: Keep abreast of any legislative regulatory changes or updates. Deliver training and communicate any regulatory changes to the company. Monitor the company’s control measures and coordinate risk assessments around business activities. Identify breaches and partner with business in resolution. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to maintain effective compliance culture within the organisation. Carry out periodic reviews and audits to ensure best-practice framework is in place. To be successful for this role: Minimum 3 years compliance experience within the Insurance industry. APA Qualification essential and ACOI (Professional Certificate in Compliance) desirable. Experience dealing with CBI and senior management. Well organised and capable of motivating others.
