HR Officer - Contract


We are looking for an experienced HR professional for a 6 month contract to help establish HR policies, systems and procedures in a Cork based start-up. Please call Brian Flynn today for further information on 021-4297423 or email: THE ROLE: * Support the development of the company vision, culture, structures, behaviours and values in a start-up situation. * Oversee implementation of HRIS, including procurement and set up. * Define and build HR processes and procedures, ranging from grievance and disciplinary handling to performance management. * Support the establishment of weekly and monthly payroll. * Liaise with Pension providers to help establish company pension scheme and other insurance issues. * Develop induction programme, and initial training programmes. * Complete role profiles and job descriptions, and work with Head Office in determining staffing requirements. * Support initial recruitment of senior site leadership team. * Establish HR KPI's and regular reporting structures. REQUIREMENTS: * 10 years' experience in a challenging HR role. * A relevant degree or diploma and membership of the CIPD. * Knowledge of Irish employment law. * Detailed knowledge of HR systems, processes and procedures. * Ability to worked with partners locally and at corporate level. * Previous experience within a manufacturing environment; ideally in a start-up environment.
