Network And Security Administrator
One of Ireland's top professional services firms is seeking an experienced Network Administrator with strong security knowledge to join their IT team. This is an exciting new opportunity based in Cork, which reports into the Chief Information Officer and will allow the right individual to work on multiple new projects in this expanding organisation. This opportunity will give the right candidate great scope to increase your knowledge significantly and progress your career. The Role: As a Network and Security Administrator, you will support IT security projects, carrying out reviews, checks and logs of all security measures. You will manage IT controls, risk management practices and the business continuity environment whilst helping the organisation to achieve ISO27001 certification. You will also be responsible for the administration and management of infrastructure including hardware maintenance, routers, switches, firewalls and all hardware maintenance, as well as vulnerability scanning. The Person: The ideal individual will be degree qualified in Computer Science or similar with at least 3 years' experience in a technical role with security systems and process knowledge. You will also be able to demonstrate: Strong technical knowledge of Networking, Firewalls (i.e. Palo Alto and Barracuda) and Server Operating System, Office 365, Active Directory, and Sharepoint. Experience with products such as WSUS, Veeam, System Centre, VMWare would be advantageous. Willingness to take on new projects and provide innovative procedures and solutions. Cisco certification (CCNP, CCNA, CCNA Voice) is highly desirable. Must hold valid European citizenship and be a fluent English speaker.
