Payroll & Finance Assistant


The Award Winning Blue Haven Hotel Kinsale is currently recruiting for a Payroll & Finance Assistant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be joining a strong established team. The successful person will have responsibility for the payroll while supporting the Finance department on various levels. Main responsibilities: Preparation of weekly and daily reports. Reconciliation of daily cash and credit card payments. Managing the weekly payroll. Assisting with Supplier invoicing & reconciliations. Role Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role. Qualified / Part Qualified Accounts Technician. Proficient user of Sage Micropay, Sage 50 and Excel. Familiarity with payments systems cash, credit/debit card, and bank transfers. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills. Polish speaking an advantage but not necessary.
