Human Resource Officer. Human Resource Officer. Responsibilities: Actively manage the recruitment process ensuring best practice is adhered to at all times. Completion of Role Profiles, job advertising, screening, interviewing, referencing up to senior level. Key point of contact for all recruitment agencies. Work with function heads in the forecasting of staffing needs. Participate in the graduate recruitment process & representing the company at graduate recruitment fairs. Develop detailed induction schedules for all starters in line with policy. Manage the end-to-end on-boarding process for employees joining the business. Conduct six-week reviews with new starters in line with policy. Weekly and monthly payroll review. Respond to payroll queries from payroll and employees in a timely manner. Liaise with Compensation & Benefits department on personnel data relevant to pensions. Preparation of files and reports for Internal and External audits. Conducting Training Needs Analysis and co-ordination of external training for all employees, required in line with business objectives. Design and delivery of Internal Training Programmes as required. Appropriate administration and record keeping of all Training documentation. Organising, scheduling and assisting at company training days as required. Assist in drafting labour court submissions where appropriate. Attendance at third party hearings, grievances or disciplinary and drafting of minutes and associated documents. Weekly management of absenteeism, timekeeping and attendance and recording of data on Core and HR Metrics. Liaise with Occupational Health in relation to sporadic or long term absence. Coordination of medicals. Participation in long term absence meetings. Maintaining records and personnel files for all Agri and retail employees. Answer all employee queries in a timely fashion. Roll out HR initiatives as agreed. Collation of all relevant information for salary planning and ‘GRID’ processes. Draft and issue contracts to all new employees ensuring they capture all new policy implementation and/or legislative changes. HR Metrics monthly reporting to Retail and management team in agreed format on key areas. Completion of statutory leave such as maternity and parental with employees where required. Track, maintain and process all increment and probation reports for all employees. Requirements: Professional HR Related Degree essential/minimum 2.1 qualification. Membership of CIPD or equivalent professional body is advantageous. At least 3 years HR generalist experience in a similar environment. Strong IT Skills, CORE HR essential. Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative and drive for results. Excellent coaching and trainer skills to successfully transfer knowledge. Ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of HR practice and employment legislation and a willingness to develop this knowledge over time. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing is critical.
