Enterprise People are currently seeking a Senior Software Tester for a 6 Month Contract based in Cork. Reporting to the Test Manager, the Senior Software Tester will join the existing test team who are responsible for all test activities related to our client’s business critical systems & applications in a financial services environment. The Senior Software Tester will: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Review functional requirements. Design testcases based off functional requirements. Bug detection, investigation, detailed documentation, tracking and retest. Interact with the development team to ensure timely resolution of bugs. Ensure all deliverables and releases are according to original requirement (s) specification. Raise & track defects. Escalate risks and issues to ensure resolution. Work closely with key stakeholders. Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: A 3rd Level Qualification. 4+ Years Software Testing experience. Experience writing and executing detailed test plans. Financial Services experience. Test Certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
