We are currently recruiting a SAP BASIS Analyst to join our IT team in Cork on a maternity cover contract initially (estimated duration up to 12 months. We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. The SAP Basis admin will work closely within the SAP and other technical teams to carry out the administration activities supporting the SAP environment. The successful candidate will join the PGCS SAP BASIS team as a core team member, ready to hit the ground running and a willingness to contribute from the outset. Primary Accountabilities: Provide Basis and technical support across all aspects of the SAP landscape to include SAP ECC, BI, XI EP, MII and other technical components. Work with both the internal and external technical teams to deliver on support and project requirements. Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP transport layer to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly. Ability to implement changes to the SAP environment in a structured approach using change control processes that minimises risk and ensures high system availability and performance for each of the SAP systems. Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and technical components. Essential Criteria i.e. Qualifications and/or Experience Minimum of 1-2 years SAP BASIS support experience. Ability to work with global teams, vendors and offshore partners. Experience of working within a UNIX/LINUX/Windows OS environment, ITIL tools & processes , project implementation and production support. Additional Desired Qualifications and/or Experience Strong analytical skills and experience in resolving challenging technical support issues. Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook. Demonstrates the desire and ability to develop new technology skills, business knowledge, and customer service capability through training, experimentation, and self-study. Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements. Experience working within a customer support environment.
