A Hotel General Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for a Cork based top end client. THE ROLE: The General Manager leads and manages all aspects of the hotel and lodges, planning, organising and directing to ensure that each area delivers consistently high standards of guest experience. This will be delivered while achieving business objectives and maximising the profitability of all departments and maintaining effective cost controls throughout all departments. THE REQUIREMENTS: * 5 years previous experience as an Operational Manager, Deputy General Manager in a four or five-star hotel is essential. * A strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, GP's and KPI's is essential. * Strong operations experience in F&B, C&B, and Rooms Division is essential. * Exposure to sales & marketing would be a bonus. * Higher Level Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management or business degree.
