The European Budget team is seeking a contract budget coordinator to provide high-quality financial and administrative support through vendor management, financial planning and analysis andbusiness reporting. Key Qualifications. 3-5 years relevant experience, with at least 2 years in finance, accounting or business. Highly proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proven analytical and creative problem solving skills. Strong communication and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to build effective business partnerships. Technical aptitude with database management and analysis. Responsibilities. Maintain individual budget estimates, analyse actual spend versus forecast and adjust forecast as needed. Handle invoice processing and payment workflow. Documenting and filing weekly invoices. Create and maintain detailed invoice tracking document of actual spend per invoice. Track invoice spend versus individual Purchase Orders. Weekly/Monthly and Quarter end financial reporting as requested for new and ongoing projects. Check Monthly expense reports versus supplied paperwork, enter expense data into the system. Requirements. Resourceful and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Problem solve, multi-task, work independently and prioritize their workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as there will be interaction with outside vendors, procurement, finance, as well as other organizations. initiative to improve and streamline existing processes to make them more efficient and scalable.
