We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join the team at Freefoam Plastics. This person will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems to ensure availability to all systems users across the company. Main Duties and Responsibilities : Maintain and administer computer hardware. Troubleshoot problems as they arise and provide a support service for all system users on hardware. Liaise with service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues. Perform regular systems checks and daily back up operations. Perform security monitoring and implement network security measures. Conduct repairs and recovery to/from hardware or devices that fail. Provide support for telephone and communication systems. Be involved with other departments as is required for IT projects. Administration of users and access to networks and systems. The successful candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and attributes: Degree or Diploma in IT or an equivalent 3rd level qualification. Knowledge of VMware, Windows technologies. Experience of working with an ERP system. Demonstrated working knowledge of security products, along with strong backup and recovery experience. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with fluent English. MCSA, MCP and/or CCNA would be desirable but not essential. Related experience within a manufacturing environment, while not essential would be a distinct advantage. Eligibility to live and work in the EU. Confident, enthusiastic individual with a “can do” attitude.
