Looking for a New Production or Machining Position? Our Medical Device Client in West Cork have a number of requirements for production, CNC, finishing and packaging operators. These are excellent opportunities with a well-established progressive company. 11 month contracts initially with a view to perm. Minimum 1-2 years regulated industry - Pharma/Med Device experience an absolute requirement . Act as a member of the Production Team- Execute manufacturing activities in line with company SOP's and work instructions to ensure that product is manufactured to the desired quality standards in the interest of patient safety. Work in empowered teams which deliver on key performance metrics. Participate in projects in order to contribute to continuous improvements. Responsibilities. Ensure manufacturing activities are completed in a manner which will not compromise the health and safety of employees and visitors to the site. In co-ordination with Production Supervisors, plan, schedule and monitor manufacturing activities in the relevant manufacturing cell/team. Process product in a manner which ensures that required quality standards are achieved. Promote operational excellence in all relevant manufacturing related activities. Liaise with supervisors and other departments regarding application of manufacturing instructions and quality standards. Analysis of manufacturing metrics such as throughput, on-time-delivery, non-conformances and rework/reject rates in the relevant manufacturing team. Ensure maintenance activities are completed as scheduled. Undertake training and development activities as required. Continually strive to develop and maintain lean manufacturing processes and implement continuous improvements. Demonstrate flexibility by transitioning between cells/teams as required, in order to meet current and anticipated business needs. Requirements. Relevant Qualification preferred. Minimum 1-2 years experience in a highly regulated GMP operating environment required -Pharma/MedTech. Previous work experience in a similar manufacturing regulated environment. CNC Machining/cleanroom/packaging knowledge and experience preferred. Good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills. Knowledge of GMP requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of initiative, energy and motivation. Team player and result orientated. Hardworking and reliable. Solid record of attention to detail, strict adherence to procedures and safety focused. Technical and organisational skills. Flexibility and results focused in a fast paced lean environment. Versatility and adaptability. Integrity, reliability and accountability.
