My client, a leading medical device manufacturer is currently seeking a Planning Manager to manage their team and provide excellent leadership to ensure sound execution of the Supply Chain strategy. Key responsibilities. Provide leadership and effective management of a team whilst ensuring execution of the Supply Chain Strategy. Assess and review different distribution methods to reduce product lead times whilst achieving cost reduction opportunities. Manage finished goods, raw materials and work in progress levels. Assess and report any Supply Chain risks to Senior Management. Develop policies and procedures for all Supply Chain activities and ensure regulatory requirements are met. Conduct periodic business reviews with key suppliers, subcontractors and vendors to discuss performance. Liaise closely with various departments to implement process improvements and achieve production output gals, efficiencies, unit cost and quality. Ensure the development and achievement of continuous improvement plans, cost reduction and performance management. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Supply Chain management position within a medical device operations environment. You will possess strong knowledge of cGMP and cGDP and will have a proven track record of successfully interacting across various projects which involve negotiation and engagement across senior management levels.
