An Engineering Lead is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based pharma client .Team leadership role is to coach and support craft team to ensure the smooth running and reliability of equipment . THE ROLE: * Provide ongoing coaching and support to the Engineering team. * Be an active participant of the site integrated process leadership team. * Ensure supply of high quality product through equipment availability, maximize performance of the equipment and identify/implement continuous process improvement initiatives. * Ensure maintenance programs are executed to the highest standards in compliance with cGMP. * Sound Engineering stewardship, staffing resource planning maintenance scheduling and control e.g. shutdown activities, vendor management, change control. * Recommend best practice approaches in line with global and local standards. * Ensure highest Quality & Compliance (Quality and Safety) standards. * Participate in efficiency and streamlining projects which contribute to site initiatives and contribute to increased safety, process improvement cost saving etc. * Manage Safety Chapters within the Vaccine IPT as required. REQUIREMENTS: * Level 8 Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline. * 5 years' experience within the Pharmaceutical industry or a similar GMP operating environment with preferable experience in at least one of the following: Utility management, Reliability, Engineering Maintenance, Calibrations, Operations. * People manangement experience. * Demonstrated successes in a team environment, such as project teams, Lean Six Sigma teams, etc. * Project management qualification such as Project Management professional is desirable.
