To capitalise on our recent expansion, we are looking to recruit a Sales Manager to maintain and expand our existing customer base and in line with the company strategy develop the sales and profitability of the company’s portfolio. RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Account Category Management, growth of Irish/UK/Europe retail and food service trade. Proactively working with the industry to develop extra product listing and increase shelf space. Maximise business potential through proactive, timely follow up of sales enquiries and marketing opportunities. Develop market insights through market research and gap analysis. Complete regular Price surveys of Multiples. Responsible for front line negotiations with customers. Co-ordinate promotions for each retailer according to the relevant promotion calendar and communicate cost/Profit analysis of the promotional product to Finance Function. Networking with customers ensuring the promotion of the brand. Manage the team to co-ordinate all buyers’ requests and queries. Enhance the existing management reporting tools to provide timely insights for Senior Management. Liaise with and provide support to Dispatch, NPD, Technical, Administration, Sales Reps, Quality and Production. Participate in trade and food shows. Travel will be required, including occasional overnights. Education & Experience: Previous account management experience (5 years+) in FMCG business, ideally dairy, dealing with buyers from retail multiples. An ability to think strategically to solve customer/market product challenges. Proven organisational skills with the ability to multi task and succeed in a deadline driven environment. Excellent networking, influencing and negotiation skills. Track record of driving continuous improvement and cultural change. Brand and digital marketing experience. Full clean driving licence.
