Quality Assurance Lead (Food) – Cork. Having, over the last 5 years, investing considerable sums in state-of-the-art facilities and process equipment, this leading primary foods business has retained Brightwater Specialist Recruitment to source and experienced Quality Assurance Lead who will be responsible for the up keep and maintainenanc of site QMS system. You will; - Maintain QMS to meet regulatory requirements. - Reporting of system updates and standards changes to the wider team. - Provide feed back to internal stake holders on audit performance and responsible for close out of audit NC to the customer. - Set up and maintain site audit schedule. - Maintain accreditation & liaise on site quality issues. - Manage and continuously improve the entire QA Program for the site including sampling plans, policies, procedures, and specifications, focussing on robust solutions to issues raised. - Develop and instill Food Safety behaviors across the site. - Coach, develop, train and up skill employees in to enhance knowledge and understanding. Qualification Required: - Science Degree in a relevant discipline. - Min 3 years experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment.
