A Senior Process Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based specialist electronics client. This person will play a key role in transitioning our clients latest product offerings from NPI into full production. Please contact Diarmuid Buckley for more information. THE ROLE: * Work closely with Engineering, NPI and production teams to define production processes. * Understand the company's proprietary processes, process flow and multiple product mix. * Provide technical support regarding production equipment and processes. * Set-up work stations, including operator training. * Implement and maintain a cross training and up-skilling program. * Drive production capacity utilization. * Continually identify and drive process specific improvements, especially tooling and process flow optimisation. * Strive to continually improve quality, reduce lead-times and reduce costs. REQUIREMENTS: * 5 years in a Process Engineering role in a Manufacturing Environment. * Third-level qualification in an engineering discipline. * Be able to work in a technically challenging, multiple product environment. * Additional knowledge or experience in electronics manufacturing, contract manufacturing or high tech device assembly. * A strong technical interest and willingness to learn about the Company's technology is essential.
