Description

Acrow Recruitment is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Technician to be based in Cork with a well-established engineering company. The role encompasses a wide range of activities and accounting responsibilities including: Payroll, Accounts payable and IT Systems Administration. Onsite training will be provided for all aspects of the work. Responsibilities: • Weekly Payroll for up to 100 employees – Sage Micropay experience beneficial. • Assisting Accounts Manager with ad hoc duties. • Processing supplier invoices & preparing weekly payment run. • Assisting in the preparation of Month End and Annual Accounts. • Work with IT Technical staff and Consultants to ensure the smooth running of the IT systems. • Set an example of enthusiasm, loyalty and hard work in the performance of all duties. Requirements: • Qualified Accounting Technician or similar desirable. • 2 + years' experience working in a payroll role. • Excellent Computer Skills with a strong working knowledge of MS Excel. • Knowledge of IT System Administration a benefit. • Ability to analyse and interpret data to allow an informed conclusion. • Work with IT Technical staff and Consultants to ensure the smooth running of the IT systems. • Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently, and to take ownership of the role.
