The Job Suite are currently recruiting a Deli Manager for our client in Mallow. The ideal candidate has relevant experience in a deli department and has ambition to drive sales and innovation in a Deli department. Duties: Managing day to day operations of the Deli. Provide customers with excellent quality products and services. Drive excellence across the team and ensure best practice at all times. Manage consistent flow of deliveries, stock and order systems, maximising promotions. Ensure hygiene standards are to the highest standards including a comprehensive HACCP plan for department. Monitor wastage percentages and GP’s. Achieve Sales Targets and Margins as agreed with store manager. Experience: A minimum of 2-3 year’s experience in a Deli environment and at Assistant Manager level. Previous experience as a team lead or a supervisory position advantageous. Must possess a keen interest in food prep and merchandising. Have knowledge of Hygiene regulations, HACCP qualifications. Must have an innovation and generate ideas to improve sales in the Deli department. Self-motivated. A Team Player but able to work on their own initiative. A friendly outgoing personality.
