Sigmar Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Associate to work with our globally renowned client in Cork. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The overall purpose of this role is to conduct laboratory analysis on raw materials, intermediates and final products. As part of this process you will also be required to carry out analysis on water, utilities and conduct environmental analysis. Core Duties & Responsibilities: Conducting lab analysis to ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards. Reporting analysis and non-conformances, trends and all other data to identify areas for improvement. Assist investigations of non-conformances, identifying solutions. Research and implementation of new lab equipment and improved testing methods. Liaise with manufacturers regarding equipment services and calibrations. Play an integral role in continually improving testing methods within the laboratory. Ensure quality, safety, environmental standards and SOP’s are adhered to at all times. Conduct investigative projects as required. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Third level qualification within Science. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment with ISO/ BRC pharmaceutical standards. Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO22000 and ISO14001. Previous experience working with electronic documentation systems within the pharmaceutical industry. Exceptional analytical skills and high level of attention to detail. Experience writing reports and identification of data trends. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced production laboratory.
