PE Global are currently recruiting for a QMS Officer for one of their food clients in Cork. Responsibilities of the role: To ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory standards and customer requirements. Develop policies and procedures and risk assessments to meet the requirements of FSSC 22000, including HACCP and maintain in electronic format; Develop and implement the internal audit schedule including maintaining audit reports and managing audit finding close out; Document testing plans & SOP’s for the site; In conjunction with site QA Manager – lead and facilitate customer and regulatory audits; Coach management and operational staff on new standards, accreditation requirements and procedures; Review data from environmental swab plan in relation to alignment of GMP and GMP policies as required. Education and experience required: Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline(Food Science & Technology, Microbiology; 2 - 5 years’ experience in a QA food manufacturing environment at FSSC 22000 standard as a minimum; Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people.
