Graphic Designer. In partnership with its client Kenny-Whelan & Associates is currently seeking a Graphic Designer for the Cork area. The Client: The Client is a well established Pharmaceutical company in Cork with branches nationwide and overseas. Profile : This role is based in a fast paced environment of the Labelling Operations Dept. Duties: Create labelling artwork using Desktop Publishing software. Liaise with print suppliers and external graphic designers to ensure the timely delivery of proofs and to resolve any issues/concerns on artwork. Liaise with various departments to identify any urgent labelling updates, and the necessary actions required to implement. Adhere to SOPs to maintain standards and quality. Liaise with labelling reviewers to ensure that artwork is correct, and any corrections required are completed in a timely manner. May create item specifications and any associated documentation for the introduction of a new packaging component. May update and create secondary packaging Bills of materials. Educational / IT Qualifications and Systems. Degree in Business Systems, BA or relevant qualification. Qualification and extremely proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign Software for MAC. Advanced MS Office. Experience: “Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is essential or multi-national “ Skills : Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) essential. General knowledge of hardware and software used in the printing industry, to ensure artwork files are compatible with printers systems. Knowledge of local languages and complex fonts. Strong aptitude for Systems. Capable to working to tight deadlines, therefore excellent Time Management is expected. All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
