Leading Biopharma Client in Cork have a requirement for Graphic Designer to join their team, 12 month contract. Responsibilities: Creates labelling artwork using Desktop Publishing software. Liaises with print suppliers and external graphic designers to ensure the timely delivery of proofs and to resolve any issues/concerns on artwork. Liaises with various departments to identify any urgent labelling updates, and the necessary actions required to implement. Adheres to SOPs to maintain standards and quality. Liaises with labelling reviewers to ensure that artwork is correct, and any corrections required are completed in a timely manner. May create item specifications and any associated documentation for the introduction of a new packaging component. May update and create secondary packaging Bills of materials. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and administrative policies. Ability to follow direction and work under supervision. Strong attention to detail, and ability to develop logical step by step plans. Working knowledge in Adobe design software for MAC. Requirements. Relevant Degree Qualification. Prior experience in a similar role within industry. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external customers. Knowledge of local languages and complex fonts. General knowledge of hardware and software used in the printing industry, to ensure artwork files are compatible with printers' systems. Strong computer skills and excellent organizational skills. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro., Mac. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, and a strong aptitude for Systems. Possesses a strong knowledge of FDA cGMP standards and regulatory guidance documents.
