Role Responsibilities: Develop a continuous improvement plan across all departments in line with the current strategy. Act as a key change agent within the team and report to senior management team using appropriate metrics on progress towards the overall lean programme. Engage, gain buy-in and support all employees and managers involved in the change. Use of Lean tools and training others on the use of same. Identify cost saving targets as part of a CI plan. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through front line employee engagement with standard work, on the floor problem solving and idea generation. Attend and participate in weekly operations meetings. Any other adhoc duties as requested by management. Key Skills Required: Shows initiative and problem-solving experience. Builds relationships with people at all levels. Knowledge of the dairy industry and processing. Self-Motivated, good organisational skills, methodical. Ability to execute and follow through on initiatives to deliver on goals. 3 years experience of implementing Lean in a manufacturing environment. An honours degree in Operations Management, Engineering or Lean equivalent. Project management and people management experience essential.
