Sigmar Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Engineer to work with our client in Cork. This is a permanent role offering an excellent working environment and salary. As the Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support on a technical level across all company departments with specific focus on engineering, maintenance and production. The successful candidate will have a huge amount of autonomy in terms of decision making and also bringing forward ideas and changes to processes across the company. Candidate Specification: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Process Engineering preferred. 1-2 years post-graduate experience within a manufacturing environment. Exceptional level of technical understanding and competence. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. An aptitude for design, including CAD. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent English – written and spoken. Proactive and positive attitude to work. Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload accordingly.
