Title: Process Development Engineer (Cork – Munster based roles. Location : Cork and Munster based. Summary: I’m seeking to speak with Process Development Engineer’s for roles in Cork and across Munster. If a candidate is flexible there are even more options available outside of Munster. Responsibilities: Coordinate implementation of centrally identified Engineering & Maintenance best practices. Coordinate and lead continuous improvement projects. Drives efficiency within the facility, maximising availability and minimising downtime. Oversee production processes and establishes best practice and standards for predictive/preventative maintenance and leads periodic audits. Ensures that best practice is strictly adhered to across the plant and scheduled maintenance is conducted on time. Manage small and medium capital projects within the site. Provide technical expertise to support plant operations and optimisation. Manage material availability of spare parts, as well as spare parts spend. Develop predictive/preventative maintenance schedule for all assets in the value stream. Manage execution of maintenance activities including operator maintenance activity. Oversees the performance of 3rd party maintenance and engineers against KPI’s. Work with NPI Programme Manager on process changes and modifications. Redesign plant to optimise; cleaning; changeovers; and on line quality sampling / reporting. Requirements: Third level Degree in Engineering or Science Discipline. Minimum three years’ experience working in a Process Engineering Role. Lean/Six Sigma Training an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good leadership ability.
