A PMO Lead is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based pharma client .Leadership role with responsibility for a team assigned to project manage a wide range of diverse projects. THE ROLE: * The PMO lead will work closely with cross-functional on-site teams including Operations, Quality, Technical Operations, Facility Management, I.T, Strategic Partners and Engineering. * Responsibility to ensure that projects are being executed according to the project standard, ensuring scope/budgets are aligned and project change control is implemented appropriately. * Develop a PMO on-site. * Provide leadership in a collaborative and coaching fashion to the team. * Work with project sponsors at initiation to ensure the scope is fully defined and understood. * Coach and train all site personnel on the roles and responsibilities of all those involved in project execution. * Establish robust processes for all projects with stage gates (i.e. project types - expense, tech transfer, CI etc.) * Establish a prioritization process to ensure the correct projects are being delivered. * Develop and manage department and projects budget. * Ensure that the headcount within the team is aligned to deliver the site requirements. * Manage department and projects communication processes to ensure that all processes are applied and followed. REQUIREMENTS: * Relevant 3rd level Hons Degree Qualification. * 8 years of relevant experience in project delivery of a broad spectrum of projects. Experience managing sterile or Biologics projects and advantage. * Accredited Project management qualification by the Project Management Institute or equivalent. * Knowledge of and experience in applying Lean Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. * Demonstrated knowledge in more than one pharmaceutical and/or chemical manufacturing operation (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality etc.) * Demonstrated leadership skills with a continuous improvement focus.
