A Payroll Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment for a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity for our Cork based client. This is with a large multinational organisation in Cork city. Strong possibility this role will turn into a permanent position. THE ROLE: * Site liaison with external payroll service provider. * 5 company payrolls - two weekly, two 4-weekly and one monthly (approximately 450 people. * Time management - clock-files & exceptions administration routinely as required. * Submission of audited clock-files to external payroll agency to tight timelines. * Support the payroll runs as required, working closely with the external agency on queries etc. * Reporting - receive the reports generated by the external agency, validate and file. * Payroll Returns - monthly P30, annual P35 submission .Payroll Reporting - year end. * Pension/VHI and expenses - site liaison, responsible for monthly returns & reporting. * Petty Cash - responsible for issuing & tracking petty cash payments. * Bank Payments - ad hoc payment requests though local branch account & company exceptional payments tool. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 3 years of high volume Payroll experience. * IPASS Qualified essential. * Knowledge of CoreHR and Megapay desirable.,working knowledge of payroll best practices. * Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel. * Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material and strong attention to detail. * Ability to multitask and to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
