Working with the LotusWorks team as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will act as an advocate for continuous improvement activities using statistical techniques, Lean manufacturing tools, Six Sigma, design experimentation for process and equipment, to achieve targets and cost savings. Responsibilities. Take the lead in troubleshooting on equipment while providing Coaching and Mentoring to other engineering staff. Serve as a resource to other engineering disciplines in facility. Will have a prime role with respect to equipment and process safety ensuring standards are met or exceeded at all times. Technical support for manufacturing: Utilise Lean Manufacturing tools, Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Methodical approach to problem solving Training and mentoring: Develop and improve planned maintenance regimes, Train maintenance engineers on planned maintenance regimes. Improve fault diagnosis skills within engineering Dealing with equipment suppliers and service providers: Develop support relationships with external sources Equipment suppliers, Service suppliers, Spare Suppliers, Professional bodies, Consultancies Support improvement projects on manufacturing equipment: Upgrade existing equipment to improve Quality, Throughput, Workflow Yield. Sub contract if/when necessary. Requirements. Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering / Science discipline, with 5+ years relevant experience. Experience in Validation of equipment and implementation of manufacturing processes is desired. Experience in regulated industry, FDA, ISO, etc. Experience in process transfer or large project roles in medical device environment. Previous experience in the project management. Previous experience in a high volume-manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead / contribute to significant projects to completion, on time and within budget.
