Laboratory Systems Quality Engineer - Cork. The role: Youwill beresponsible for validation, lifecycle management, maintenance and troubleshooting of computerised systems within the Analytical Services laboratories. You will be also responsible for identifying and implementing data integrity improvements and for providing technical support to other sites. Your main tasks will be the following: qualification and optimisation of computerised systems and equipment in all laboratories, including responsibility for project management, protocol preparation, execution and report writing in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Building of templates and reports for use in LIMS and chromatography data systems and other systems as appropriate. Identifying and implementing data integrity improvements. Generation of change controls and supporting documentation to ensure all changes to laboratory computerised systems are in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Providing input and data for preparation of annual budget for Analytical Services department, and liaising with vendors and Procurement Department if necessary to ensure appropriate service contracts are in place for laboratory equipment in line with discretionary spend budgets. Coaching and training of colleagues in the use of laboratory systems as required. Generation of quality documentation, such as standard operating procedures, management procedures and test methods. Interested applicants should have: • B.Sc in Science or related discipline. • Minimum of 5 years' laboratory experience, including experience in LIMS administration and management of other relevant software systems. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical writing ability. • Project management experience & demonstrated capability in achieving targets. • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
