CSC Partners Recruitment is working with a leading medium sized award-winning practice based in Cork to fulfil the role of Tax Director in the firm. This permanent opportunity is for a technically strong tax accountant who is ambitious and looking to progress their career. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients from medium multi-national to large indigenous companies, corporate and high net worth individuals. There is a possibility for this role to be come the succession plan within this thriving practice. Your new job. Delivering and coordinating personal tax compliance services for their Irish and multinational clients. Advising their high net worth clients business and investment matters. Assist with developing new clients and increasing fee income for tax division. The role is highly challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid taxation advice, compliance and planning. Researching and resolving tax technical issues arising in the personal tax compliance process. Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and case law. Creating and improving processes for the delivery of the personal tax compliance services. Managing a team of experienced tax consultants in their delivery. Coaching and mentoring a team of tax trainees including presenting in-house tax training courses. You will have. A minimum of five years in a professional environment within a tax department. Good tax technical skills and detailed knowledge of income tax. Deadline focused with excellent project management and organizational skills. Must be confident and can develop sustainable personal client relationships. Excellent delegation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage tasks on an ongoing basis. Excellent team leading and interpersonal skills. AITI qualified or a qualified accountant who has studied tax. Above market rate salary on offer for this role. Interested?
