We are on the lookout for a Fixed Asset Graduate Accountant to join our Finance team in Little Island on a 2 and a half year graduate training programme. We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of working with the Global Capital & Fixed Assets team on a two and a half year graduate training programme. He/she will train as a Qualified Accountant through a recognised accountancy body and gain sufficient relevant experience at PepsiCo to complement their studies. The role provides exposure to a complex environment, and global customer base, detailed fixed asset accounting, planning and analysis, engagement with the local business teams and senior management locally and within PepsiCo. There is also excellent opportunity to drive an agenda of delivering best in class processes and practices to enhance business support. Principal Accountabilities: Maintain the Fixed Asset register for Ireland and Singapore. Responsible for recording all newly acquired fixed assets and disposals in the accounting system, and the timely capitalisation of new assets. Responsible for month end activities for Fixed Assets, including depreciation run, capitalisation, accrual posting. Reporting of actual v's forecast for Ireland & Singapore capital actuals and provide variance analysis of same. Prepare quarterly depreciation forecasts and Annual Depreciation Plans for Ireland & Singapore. Reconciliation of Fixed Asset sub-ledger to the trial balance. Prepare audit schedules and be main point of contact for all internal and external FA audits. Business partner with the engineering/maintenance/IT functions to ensure timely capitalisation of projects. Complete and co-ordinate the annual Fixed Asset counts of the plants. Completion of annual impairment review. Assist in the review of Capital Appropriation Requests for Ireland. Essential skills: Accounting degree or equivalent. Excellent analytical skills including high degree of proficiency in excel and Powerpoint. Excellent Interpersonal/Communication skills (both written and verbal. Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives. Self-starter with ability to work autonomously, as well as being flexible. Ability to integrate well within a team environment.
