Senior Pathology IT Administrator. Permanent Full Time. (Under the Governance of Mercy University Hospital Cork CLG.) Responsibilities - The post holder will be responsible for; •To manage the implementation of the APEX the Laboratory Information System. •To act as liaison between iSoft / pathology IT CUH and the MUH during the implementation phase in conjunction with the IT department. •To liaise with the Quality in developing and executing validation plans to ensure Compliance with ISO15189. •To oversee the introduction of software upgrades, including acceptance testing and data migration. Eligibility Criteria - Candidates: •Have or be eligible for, full membership of the Academy of Medical Laboratory science and possess a relevant, recognised qualification. •Fulfil the qualifications as laid down by the DOH&C. •Problem solving. •Good computer skills.
