A leading Cork based consulting company has a brand new opening for an experience Sales Rep with a solid IT/ Technical Sales background. The role will primarily involve sales of the company’s products as well as business development to source new clients. As this is a brand new role within this hugely successful company, there is tremendous scope for the right candidate to really carve out a superb long-term opportunity for themselves. This role will be mainly office-based though may involve some on-site client visits. You will be working within a larger sales team and have fantastic support in your quest to make this role your own! We are especially seeking a sales-driven, self-motivated individual who can hit the ground running. Essential criteria required: Between 2-5 years’ B2B or corporate experience within IT/Software / technical sales – this is essential. Strong communicator with excellent negotiating skills. Ability to understand complex software solutions in order to sell them to clients. Ability to deal with technical issues / queries. Problem solver. Team player with the ability to work equally well on own initiative. Ability to manage a long sales cycle. Sales and target focussed. Experience dealing with Telecommunications clients would be advantageous. Type: Permanent role. Salary: Negotiable depending on experience plus KPI bonus structure.
