Our client, a global research and manufacturing leader, are currently looking for a SC & Logistics Administrator for their plant in Cork. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager & will be the point of contact for various departments in the company to ensure that the supply chain process runs smoothly and that targets are achieved. Embodies ‘safety first culture’ with full and thorough commitment to continuous improvement. Duties & Responsibilities. Interact with Multiple Agencies including Dept of Agriculture, Shipping Carriers, 3PL, 4PL as well as all customer Supply Points. Forecast Ocean Freight Volumes with 4PL and carriers. Maintain up to date payment of invoices. Creating Delivery orders and Production Orders for Factory Warehouse and 3PL through APO and SAP. Ensure smooth running of Customs Clearance procedures for Ocean Freight Cargo. Close liaison with QC and Warehouse personnel to plan sequence of loading. Maintain and update Deployment and Planning files as required. Identify cost saving opportunities within the 3PL and 4PL environment. Identification of returns through communication with all customers. Prepare import & export documentation. Ensure all export documents are completed correctly and in compliance with specs. Liaise with suppliers regarding documentation required for receivables. Liaise with receiving factories to ensure a high level of customer service. Responsible for compiling accurate data for supply to the markets. Check data accuracy regularly and maintain responsibility for corrective actions. Responsible for improving the way of working in the network. Raising of logistics purchase orders. Processing GRNs to enable 3-way invoice match. Maintain SLAs. Coordinate the drafting and maintaining of SLAs with Customers. Candidate Requirements. A proven track record in planning with a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience is essential. Experience in the dairy or food industry is desirable but not essential. Strong experience in data analysis is essential. Ability to present accurate concise reports to Senior Management. Relevant Third Level qualification. Proficient in the use of MS Office tools, particularly Excel. Proficient numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data. SAP experience advantageous but not essential. Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Terms: Full Time, Permanent. Package: €40,000 + Bonus + Benefits. Hours: 39 Hours (Monday - Friday.
