SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE. CORK CITY HOTEL/RESTAURANT- FINE DINING ESTABLISHMENT. We are seeking a Senior CDP for Fine Dining 5* Hotel and Restaurant in Co. Cork. This restaurant is synonymous in the local area for the quality of its food; it’s a real gourmet paradise where they have a very successful rustic/classical style operation serving food all day from Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. The kitchen is fully staffed and they are now seeking a creative chef that can excel the further to stardom, support the Head Chef and help manage the day to day operations in the kitchen. This is a busy establishment that serves quality food. The chef needs experience in all sections put in particularly on range and grill- main course section. Prerequisites for this role Include: Previous CDP/Junior Sous Chef Experience in a similar standard restaurant. Must have a mix of Bistro/Brasserie/Restaurant exp. Can help develop and introduce new ideas and recipe’s. Has flair and imagination. Can work well under pressure with a calm temperament. Can train and upskill the current kitchen brigade. Has good portion and cost control. Fully aware and compliant in Food Safety and HACCP Food Management Systems. Can deputise for the Head Chef in their days off-strong Kitchen Management Exp. Can work a rota of 5/7 days per week. This is an all year round position paying a fantastic salary plus incentives to a suitable candidate. Salary 27-28K DOE.
