Our Cork based client are looking for strong candidates with experience building & managing security practices, good vulnerability management reporting and tracking, in large commercial entities, institutions or enterprises. Ideal candidates must have strong understanding of secure development practices, software security testing, great written and oral communications skills. Daily requirements include use of security tools to assess the security quality and risk of software. Previous experience in Agile and Scrum planning solutions is mandatory. This is the ideal position for strongly motivated individuals who aspire to perform both as an individual contributor of a global application security functional service discipline, and program lead support of broadening secure development practices enterprise-wide. Main duties include service delivery, and constant cooperation with managers, analysts and designated representatives across enterprise technology services, business unit technology and risk functions. Remediation, software weaknesses and vulnerabilities will be identified and dealt with in a fully supportive environment. Moreover, client initiatives and program-driven tasks will be resolved within budget allocations, while completing deliverables and meeting performance parameters. Ideal candidate will be working as a coach/manager/manager, and report periodically on business risks related to SW technology, also delivering high caliber security quality and risk documentation. Minimum requirements: - 4+ years relevant experience in Application Security & Software Assurance. - Excellent working knowledge of industry standards and guidance - Secure Coding Standards - OWASP Secure Coding Practices. - 2+ years' experience in a managerial/leading position; - Solid understanding of SDLC, embedding application security practices into Agile CI/CD workstreams and non-functional software security requirements.
