Our client in West Cork is currently looking to recruit a Production Scheduler. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual as you will be provided with training opportunities along with career progression opportunities within the company. The Role: Purchase quality raw materials in line with forecast production levels. Continually examine ways of improving raw material costs by price negotiation, reducing waste, outsourcing and better utilisation; Manage stock control and periodic stock counts; ensuring accurate data is available for accounting & planning purposes. Assist with Production Planning & Scheduling duties alongside the Production Team. Assist with Production System improvements alongside the Operations Development team. Requirements : Third level Degree ideally within Engineering. 1-2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing -Production environment; Strong negotiation/influencing skills.
