Pepsi is on the look-out for an Inventory Analyst to join our Supply Chain team in Cork on a permanent basis. We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. The supply chain team are the lynch pin of operations ensuring the careful coordination of concentrate ingredients and recipes. The team works with our global plants, bottlers and Distribution Centres to ensure flawless supply execution for PepsiCo. This role is responsible for working cross functionally to ensure accurate reporting of financial risk associated with obsolescence. Principle Accountabilities. Obsolescence management. Lead monthly obsolescence review for all PGCS divisions supplied from Cork. Accountable for identifying and mitigating Supply Chain risk and delivering against annual budget. Responsible for identifying/reporting Quality and Procurement risk and collaborating with these teams to mitigate where possible. Complete obsolescence reviews on all reformulations and discontinuations ensuring clear process in place for tracking this risk and cross charging write offs. Working cross-functionally to ensure correct reporting to finance of risks for Procurement, Quality and Supply Chain. Co-ordinate and improve inventory disposals process. Safety Stock Management. Set and Manage safety stock strategy for Cork. Align with management on appropriate annual calendar for running too. Analyse the output and work with the materials planning team to agree safety stock levels. SME on safety stock tool with responsibility for maintaining the tool and the data. Assess impact of safety stocks on DOH. Set inventory targets for Hypercare materials. Responsible for ensuring zero-obsolescence due to high safety stocks. Control and compliance. Develop and maintain GCS documentation and ensure full compliance. Successfully complete SOX and GCS audits as required. Health and safety. A requirement of the role is that you must adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety Requirements. General. Participate in implementation of core inventory projects. Help drive identification and development of inventory reduction strategies. Essential Criteria: Strong supply chain experience in a dynamic multinational organization. Excellent MRP and analytical skills, with a proven ability to problem solve and make quick decisions. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; Be capable of working effectively in a cross functional environment; Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks, with strong attention to detail. Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives; Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent Customer Awareness and customer focus; Third level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline. Experience in use of SAP and MS Excel.
