The magnificent 5 * Castlemartyr Country Hotel Resort located 20 minutes East of Cork City is currently recruiting a Receptionist. Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will assist in all front office activities within the hotel including checking guests in and out of the Resort, balance guests accounts. We require a Receptionist to be self-motivated, professional, and have excellent communication skills offering individual service with high levels of attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: To welcome guests on arrival and at all times in warm and friendly manner. To ensure complete guest satisfaction at all times through the prompt handling of guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner. As part of the front office team you will be required to check guests in and out of the Resort. To balance guest accounts, preparing statistical and daily reports. To anticipate guests needs and ensure that service is provided to the level they require and beyond their expectations. To write up and distribute daily VIP list. The ideal candidate will have: Previous Reception experience in a 5* or 4* hotel required. Must have working knowledge of Opera. Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent interpersonal skills - a genuine `people person` Very strong attention to detail. Fluent English.
