QC Analyst (Chemistry)
Our client organisation are one of the leading healthcare companies throughout the world. They are committed to producing life changing therapeutics that have a beneficial impact on the lives of patients across the globe. The organisation currently employ 500 people at their biologics site in Ireland and this site is growing rapidly. Due to this expansion, the organisation are seeking to add a QC Analyst to their team. This role is crucial to the organisation as they strive towards their mission of making a meaningful impact upon the progression of global medicine for future generations. The Role: As the QC analyst, you will be required to maintain the high-performance culture within the organisation, utilising your expertise to ensure Quality and Compliance standards are met. Additional responsibilities will include: Analysis, release and testing of samples, along with completing documentation in adherence with GMP as well as GDP standards. Supporting investigations within the laboratory, along with problem-solving to identify the cause of any problems. Supporting the culture of continuous improvements within the laboratory via the use of Six Sigma tools daily. The Person: The successful QC analyst will require the following: A BSc in Science or a related discipline. A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a QC, Technical Operations or similar Laboratory role. A proficient understanding and knowledge of cGMP, GLP and Quality Management Systems are required. Excellent decision-making and a drive for results are essential.
