Our client a leading Freight and Logistics Company, now requires an experienced Inbound Receiving Operator, for their client’s site located in the South -West of Co. Cork. The purpose of this role is to work on your own initiative and be a key player in our Client’s team. The successful candidate should offer solutions in a timely and efficient manner, to the end customer, to ensure all aspects of operations are completed with accuracy and quality. Responsibilities: Liaising with vendor delivery personnel, ensuring correct incoming materials are delivered intact and correctly sealed. Unloading of materials from supplier vehicles in warehouse yard and docks. Receiving raw materials and consumables both physically and electronically into inventory. Physical Inspection of incoming receipts of raw materials and consumables, hazardous and non-hazardous receipts. Wipe down of cold chain materials with IPA wipes. Physical inspection of documentation (e.g. COA, COCs, packing list etc) and filing appropriately. Electronically receiving into SAP, labelling of materials and storing of same in an appropriate warehouse storage location. Receipt of STO inventory from Logistics Service Provider Warehouse. Receipt of CIP, Gases and bulk deliveries. Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, in all warehouse areas in accordance with housekeeping procedures. Regularly participate in warehouse quality and safety audits. Complete fork lift training on site. The Inbound Receiving Operator is also required to have a good understanding of: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-regulated environment and application of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for warehouse documentation, quality incident notification etc. Requirements: Be capable of performing materials management operational tasks in accordance with current standards of operating procedures, work instructions and batch record requirements. Ensure their individual training and qualification records are sufficiently complete, prior to performing related activities. Be capable of understanding and responding appropriately to adverse events. Adhere to safety, quality & environmental compliance requirements. Ensuring that any adverse events or atypical scenarios are communicated appropriately. Be responsible for managing inventory, both physically and electronically using the SAP. Full driver’s license for driving internal vans. Package: €26000.- Terms: Perm-Full Time.
