The beautiful 5* Castlemartyr Resort in East Cork is currently recruiting a Wedding & Events Executive. Reporting to the Events Manager you will be responsible for following through on all Wedding & Event related sales enquiries, converting enquires and managing the booking. The successful person will join our highly experienced team who currently have in access of 80 Wedding & Events each year. The ideal candidate must have previous hotel sales experience in a similar position, preferably within a four or five-star hotel environment and be able to demonstrate success and experience interfacing with customers with regards to Wedding and Events. Main Duties: Follow through on all Wedding & Event related sales enquiries, converting enquires and managing the booking. Preparing contracts and offers in line with Resort Standards. Actively promoting and selling the facilities through client show rounds. Ensuring all Sales opportunities and future leads are followed through to reach set targets. To work with both the Events Manager and the Operations Manager to ensure that wedding sales maximize the revenue potential. Coordinate from initial enquiry to feedback for private dinners/ parties and events. Requirements: Previous Wedding Coordination/Planning/Sales experience in a similar role in a 4/5* property. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. A friendly and outgoing individual with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Immaculate personal presentation.
