Excellent opportunity to join global energy company working in a manufacturing / process facility. Responsible for driving production issues across their respective business units. Shift Manager must demonstrate and support company HSE values. Must adhere to policies and procedures and influence strict compliance among direct reports and other area personnel. Drivers for achieving maximum production capability. Reports at the morning meeting. Drives, resources, and coordinates cross area issues. Responsible for good written shift team handovers. Communicates the daily plan to shift team. Has the authority and the responsibility to shut down work or shut down a unit if needed. Engages Process Superintendents, Area Supervisors, and Engineers in troubleshooting 24/7. Responsible for the development and growth of their shift team. Responsible for the personnel development of their direct reports. Responsible for ensuring shift team completes assigned training and audits direct reports. Relevant degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in refinery or pharma related production operations role. Knowledge in utility, environmental, and blending systems. Experienced in delivering front line leadership within a manufacturing site. Demonstrated emergency/crisis management expertise.
