Internal Technical Sales Engineer
Opportunity to join a global leader in supplying peristaltic pumps and associated fluid path technologies used in the bio pharmaceutical, chemical, food/beverage,and environmental industry. The Group has sales operations in 30 countries worldwide and comprises eight established brands, each with their own area of expertise. The Internal Technical Sales Engineer will help customers to select the most suitable and cost effective products for the required application. Duties: To offer a solution that satisfies any application/budgeting/timescale constraints. To aid the progress of any relevant job/project through all areas of order from quotation, order processing, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, shipment through to commissioning. Produce any relevant designs, costings and documentation to assist with the above and process. Provide pre-sales technical help and assistance on all products as required. Provide technical leadership to colleagues as required. Experience: Educated to degree level in a mechanical / manufacturing discipline. An understanding of fluid dynamics and the ability to apply this to positive displacement pumps and associated systems. Analytical and technical problem solving skills. Commercial experience such as working within a sales role, raising quotes based on accurate costings and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
