An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client based in the Cork for Buyer / Stores  Lead for a 12 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive organisation with great career opportunities. The role involves. Managing the day to day functions within the Engineering Storeroom and ensure that effective Storeroom practices are maintained. Place stock replenishment orders and arrange necessary logistics to ensure the product is delivered in an efficient manner. Providing customer quotations. Maintaining records and quotations for audit purposes. Presenting product specifications, pricing and substitutions to customers. Liaising closely with clients finance and purchasing teams to ensure a smooth process. Issue, receive and manage client inventory. Utilizing internal and clients ERP stock management system. Responsible for cycle counting, stock checks and material planning. Processing stores procurement requisitions and ensuring accuracy. Communicating with site users regarding deliveries. Ensure technical advice to clients to support their product choice. Ensure H&S compliance.     The ideal candidate should have. Someone  with  3-5  years experience  in  pharma  or  food  industry. Strong communication and organisational skills. Experience working in an Engineering stores environment. Purchasing experience. Customer service skills.
